December 25, 2010 marked our 2nd christmas together. Celebrating christmas has been more meaningful to me because of hubbee. Although it was already meaningful to me by celebrating it with my family, having hubbee gives more meaning to it.

Christmas celebration was done at our house sa Laguna. Last Christmas, we were joined by my cousins and tito and tita. We arrived 20 minutes before 12:00 am, galing pa akong work. My boss and I went to work to greet the people and thank those who came for their shift even though it was christmas.

Pagdating pa lang namin, gutom na ako. Di ko na hinintay ang 12:00am. Attack na agad sa kusina. Andaming food. Nakakalula na naman yung food. Sira na uli ang diet. Di bale, pasko naman, minsan lang naman. Pero ang nakakatuwa, ang kinain ko lang eh yung carbonara na luto ni hubbee at dala namin, yung dessert pie na dala ko, at shanghai na isa sa mga paborito kong lutong food ni mommy.

Sa totoo lang, minsan, ang nagiging "meaning" nang "christmas" sa bahay namin ay ang pagkakaroon nang madaming "food". Hehe. Kaya busog tuwing pasko!!! Sarap!
Celebration last christmas was simple but meaningful. Being with your family and with your partner, with food to celebrate, with gifts to give, and to receive too, defined my christmas spirit. Although mom was sick during the celebration, it was well spent and we had all fun. I'm just blessed. Blessed to have a good family and partner to celebrate with last christmas. Thank you Lord!!!
