The Road To Bolinao, Pangasinan

It was supposed to be me, hubbee and 2 other friends who have promised to join us in this Pangasinan adventure. However, on the night before the day that we are about to leave, they backed out. Blacklisted na kayo. Haha!

Then it was just the two of us.

Pag may gustong sumama, at pag okay naman kasama, go kami.

Hehe. But the question at that time was, sino naman kaya. Hehe.

Yahoo! My new kaladkarin friend. Haha. And guess what, she offered to use her car instead. Ang saya. She just picked us up at our place, left Alabang nang 6:00am and off we went to the North.

Haha. We stopped by at the Gas station sa NLEX to buy coffee. I wanted to, kasi automatic yung car niya, di ako marunong mag-drive nang automatic. Toink!

Saktong nasa Pampanga siya at that time, umuwi sa kanila.

Bawal humindi". Text ko sa kanya.

Siyempre, ginulantang namin siya nang kaaga-aga. Haha. At matapos din ang maraming terms and conditions, napapayag namin siya in her comfort na susunduin namin siya sa house nila sa Mexico, Pampanga. Haha. Ang threesome, biglang naging orgy na. Haha. Apat na kami. Another victim. Another kaladkarin. It was perfect then!

Si Joy, nakapunta na dun but she is bad with directions kaya sa back seat lang sila ni hubbee. Passengers of the ride.

Okay, so those who will plan to go to Puerto Del Sol, here's how we got there. May this direction be helpful to anyone.

After the long drive in NLEX towards Mabalacat, Pampanga and after passing exit of Dau, exit to SCTEX (Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway). After the toll, you will see two roads, one going to Clark if you go straight, and one is turning right which is the one you should take. It was actually my first to pass on that road. And I must say, it was a perfect expressway. Nice!

After passing Dolores and Concepcion exits in SCTEX, take the Hacienda Luisita exit and pay P69.00 for the toll. We drove up to the main road, the end of the hacienda area, in which, by the way, was a huge hacienda for the aquinos and the cojuangcos. Yaman nila! Hehe. Deretso lang. Then from there, turn right going to Tarlac City.

Just follow the main road until you get to SM Mall Tarlac which is on the left side of the road. Deretso lang until you see the Mercury Drug store. It's a junction so turn left.

From there, dere-deretso lang until you get to McDonalds. From there, you have to turn right.

You will pass Fuji Film store and Tambunting Pawnshop. From there, turn left. Saglit lang yun.

You will then pass over a bridge, deretso lang. That's the Aquino bridge. Two way road lang siya.

You will now head to Camiling, Tarlac. Ang guide mo are the Jollibee signs. Basta dere-deretso lang din. When you finally see the Amigo store sign, malapit sa Shell gas station, turn left. Don't be confused kasi may madadaanan kang unang Shell gas station, Di pa yun. Dapat yung katabi nang Amigo. Medo malayong byahe siya from the Aquino bridge.

Then start following the Blue 100 Islands directional signs. Yun naman ang magiging guide mo. It's one left turn and one right turn. Just follow that sign.

Then it's going to be a long travel to Tarlac, passing different towns like Mangatarem and Aguilar. Then pagdating sa Bugallon town, at the junction uli, you will see an old Puerto Del Sol billboard, tamang laki lang, turn left. Wag dederetso, wrong way yun.

Then passing different towns again like Labrador and Sual going to Alaminos, Pangasinan. Medyo malayong byahe uli ito. Dere-deretso lang uli. It's been how many hours already at gutom na gutom na kami. The last time we saw a Jollibee eh sa Camiling, Tarlac pa. Gusto na namin kumain. Ihing-ihi pa kami. Kaya kahit anong maayos na restaurant, gusto na naming patusin.

But here's the wonderful catch.

We were literally crying for Jollibee like kids. Hehe. Kahit ano, actually, papatusin na namin. Kaso, wala. Sobrang layo nang byahe, probinsya na. Waaah.

Until we get to Alaminos, an improved city at doon kami naka-kita nang McDonalds, hindi Jollibee. Ganun! Haha. Umihi muna then order na nang food. Sarap! Haha. Then we left after our so called lunch.

Continue following the road. Don't be confused when you get to Alaminos town proper because you will see a lot of signs.

Just go straight until you get out of the town proper and reach Bani. At the town, you will reach a right/left turn roads, you will see a blue sign showing Bolinao is turn right. Take that direction. Then dere-deretso lang passing the junction road of Anda town. Malapit na yun.

Then at your left, you will see another blue signs showing direction going to Cape Bolinao Lighthouse, different bolinao beach resorts, turn left. Then dere-deretso na until you reach Puerto del Sol. We were so happy and thrilled to get there. Saya! It was 1:00pm when we got there. It was a 7-hour drive din. Whew!

Puerto Del Sol sends your confirmation booking and directional map once they get your deposit via email. The map was helpful pero there were moments na maco-confuse ka kasi kahit na detailed yung directions nila with matching pictures pa, siyempre, hindi naman lahat dun maisusulat nila. Ang goal ko at that time as Chi's pilot was not to make mistake. I was successful naman. I was very attentive na para akong geeky pilot. Hehe.

I'll tell you our experience in Puerto Del Sol and Bolinao, Pangasinan on my next entry!
